The music singer said the whole value of the donation is N200,000,000. In a press statement posted on his verified Instagram account on Saturday, he said the total sum of the donation is N200,000,000.
He gave a personal donation of N50,000,000, bringing the total to N250,000,000, and stated that the money would be distributed to orphans across Nigeria.
The singer formed a five-person disbursement committee, consisting of three professors and one pastor, to oversee the distribution.
Davido stated that his objective is to make the donation a yearly habit to give back to those in need in honor of his birthday.
He appealed to his supporters and friends to continue to back him up in this endeavor.
