The University of Ilorin (UNILORIN) has expelled a final-year student who was found guilty of assaulting Mrs Zakariyya, a female instructor. Ilorin University is located in Ilorin, Nigeria.

Last week, Thursday, November 11, the stated student, Salaudeen Waliu Aanuoluwa, a final year Microbiology student nicknamed as Captain Walz, allegedly beat up the lecturer to a coma.
However, upon questioning, it was discovered that Salaudeen assaulted the instructor because she refused to assist him in waiving his necessary SIWES scheme, which he was unable to complete owing to unforeseen circumstances.
Following the event, the University’s Student Disciplinary Committee convened a panel, and Salaudeen was arraigned on November 15th.
According to a statement, the young student has been expelled from the Federal institution.
Kunle Akogun, the University’s Director of Corporate Affairs, stated this in a statement.

If he is dissatisfied with the verdict, he has 48 days to appeal to the Vice-Chancellor.
According to the University Registrar’s letter to Salaudeen,
“As you may recall, you appeared before the Student Disciplinary Committee (SDC) to defend yourself against a misbehavior complaint filed against you.
“The Committee was convinced beyond a reasonable doubt that the accusation of misconduct against you has been proved after careful examination of all information presented to it.” It has accretion
