‘I’m very pleased to be here,’ Cristiano Ronaldo says, implying that he will not leave Manchester United.

Cristiano Ronaldo has reportedly confirmed that he will not leave Manchester United, claiming that he is delighted to be at Old Trafford as he readies for life under new coach Erik ten Hag.

Cristiano Ronaldo made a dramatic come back to the Premier League club last season but suffered a poor season as the Reds were only able to finish sixth on the league standings.

The 37-year-old, who has a year left on his United contract, is upbeat about the club’s prospects under Ten Hag.

‘I was thrilled of course to come back at a club that truly enhanced my career,’ Ronaldo stated in an interview with the club. As a result, it was incredible.

‘It was good to sense the fans when I returned.’ ‘They have a great deal of joy.’ I was – and continue to be – overjoyed to be here.’

Ronaldo concluded the Premier League season as United’s top scorer with 18 goals despite the Red Devils missing out on Champions League football, but he insisted he was still eager for the next season.

Ronaldo also said he will help the younger generation in their development for they are the future of the club.
